I walked 120km to bring you Oryx Desert Salt

Oryx Desert Salt is proud to be part of this Pick n Pay initiative and is hugely appreciative of Pick ’n Pays ongoing support!

In July 2007, CEO Samantha Skyring walked 120km through the Namib Desert, and experienced several close encounters  with gemsbok or Oryx Gazella.

The Oryx can survive long periods without water, due to several miraculous adaptations to survive, but need to lick salt frequently in order to survive the harsh conditions of the Kalahari, inspiring her logo of Oryx Desert Salt products.
